My Oscar hopes
So, bring it on, Oscar. Let's see how many I get right...
And for those of you in the UK, tonight you can see David Lynch's great movie Lost Highway on Channel 4. My review is here, if that'll help you decide.

I haven't seen most of the nominated films in any category this year but I still made my choices based on what I've read and seen so far. Hopefully I won't be a complete failure... Almost time to pop the corn, chill the drinks, and curl up on the couch for four hours and fall asleep from boredom.
hey man...just in case you dont reread blog posts...i was wondering if you could recommend some ghost rider comics...or any comics really.
Thank you for giving us "hoping to be the 10K" people something to read as we constantly come to your site in order to win that prize!
I meant to type the 20K, not 10K...
Good luck with your Oscar picks...I am just going to the shops to get some snacks for tomorrow, hope you''re having a fun weekend.
i'm excited to see how you did. i feel like the oscars have sort of gone to crap, but i'm excited to watch anyway :)
and i have to say, i hope you're wrong about the queen... i wouldn't mind seeing helen mirren win (she was great), but i thought the movie was kind of boring. i'd rather see something else win. but that's just me ;)
One of my good friends is nominated for best animated short...
And you did not pic her....
Alas alas!
Glad to hear you're loving Heroes - it's an amazing show! We're on episode 17 here, but I'm so glad you guys are enjoying it. You'll really enjoy when Chris Eccleston joins the cast!
I'm glad Little Miss Sunshine got some recognition. Wonderful film... Hurrah!
Karen: I just ticked what I wanted to win, largely based on not seeing almost any of the movies!
Shea: Check your post, bro.
Camie: I'm here to help!
Candy: Worked all w/e, so not much fun, unforch... Hope yours was groovy.
Martha: The Oscars have gone a bit to crap, you're right. I almost care more about the dresses than the movies these days. How gay is that?!
Pendullum: Did your buddy win?
Adam: I've sacrificed Prison Break for Heroes, since they clash. Looking forward to seeing Chris Eccleston too.
Milla: I'll watch LMS sometime on rental, I think. I like the look of it.
