I’m wasting awaaaaayyyyy

Despite all the food consumed last Saturday at the MIRL Red and I had with Milla and Zorro (see Milla's post for details and pics), I'm still losing weight.

I don't think I'm worried just yet, but I'm just surprised how it keeps falling off me when I'm not really making a huge effort to eat less, though I am drinking considerably less alcohol.

Today I check in at just a whisker under what I believe Americans call "a buck fifty" (150lb; 67.9kg; 10st 10lb). I'm looking and feeling better for it, but the upshot is that I've lost about a stone (14lb; 6kg) in about four or five months or so.

It's been a long time since I saw 150lbs... Funny, only a man would complain about losing weight :)

Just teasing *. I think the reduction in alcohol consumption can have a lot to do with it, depending on the amount you were drinking - lots of calories there. And if you're eating healthier food, even if you're having more of it, you'll likely lose a few pounds that way. Besides, 14lb in 4 or 5 months is not too fast. That's a healthy amount to lose in that amount of time.

Hello skinny! You'll turn into Kate Moss if you're not careful.

I don't drink alcohol -why, then, am I a fatso? I think I weighed 67 kilos aged...10.

I havent seen a 150 lbs since right before I got pregnant with our oldest. Yikes.. We bought an eliptical and a punching bag but he needs some things to hang the punching bag up so we are just using the eliptical for now. I want to lose about 30 pounds before next year.

Ha wow...I thinks it is from some of those weekend walks and drinking less...drinking booze lowers metabolism as well as adds calories.

It is very easy to lose weight for those want to lose weight...stop eating prison food (noodles, bread rice, corn, potatoes) the weight will just drop off even without exercise...

We weren't designed to eat those Frankenfoods...thats why you gain weight...

Congrats on the weight loss. It's amazing how many calories alcohol has and you don't even realise you are taking them in.

I lost 10 pounds when i was in Europe and gained it all back immediately.
It must have been the anxious stress ;)

If you feel good then I wouldnt worry too much yet. In my medical opinion.
