The weekend approaches

Even though the weather forecast is good, I doubt I'll be doing this...

But I will surely be eating some of this...

Red: I know, and I'm sorry about that. But I'm still gonna eat (and love) those damn fine mezzelune. [drool]

Karen: Thank you! I'm jealous, too: of people who live there all the time!

Martha: It's very short (two days), but we'll do our best. (See above for my reason for jealousy.)

The food looks great! Have a fabulous weekend.

Ahem, it appears you are not aware of what a chubby is.

So jealous. So, so jealous. I worked in Sorrento in Italy for a glorious six months. Came back the size of a house ..... but that's another story.

Yeah, um, the chubby thing...I almost lost it when I read the censorship blackout...and then realized "chubby" must be a term over here and not over there...

I think after seeing this photo we might have to call you Air Chubby!

Have a great time, um, what are those things on the pasta? The little earth coloured objects of food? Raisins? Grapes? Olives? I love that plate!

Red, what about sharing a plate of those? Half a portion surely would be alright followed by salad and a big walk?

G/puss: Yeah, but it flew by so quick...

Milla: Innit?

Cynnie: Hmm. I'm going to start explaining that I don't mean that kind of chubby. I mean fat.

Cappy: Not seen that movie. Any good?

Poolio: I am, but it's not the first thing I think when I hear "chubby". I think that kind of chubby is perhaps an Americanism. Although, that Chris in American Idol was "Bringing chubby back", so I guess you use it to mean fat, too?

_z.: I did, thanks!

Suze: Thanks, pet. It was fab, but too short. Oh no, not more erection gags...

Kitchen Table: Nice to work and live in Italy, I'm sure. But I can just imagine the waistline problem...

Candy: Like I said to RefPo above, you guys use chubby to mean fat, too, though, yes? The brown bits are mushrooms! It is so damn yummy, that dish, you cannot believe...

4D: There's hope for us all, mate. Sod it!

Will: Ah, you've rumbled me. Can I say "rumbled", or does that mean something rude, too, these days?

Pend: "Jealous beyond reason"? Wow, that's good going! Didn't drink any Chianti, but I'll raise some for you next time I have a glass at home.

Manini: We had a great time, thanks. Good to get away from work for a couple of days.

Pool: Sure does! Thanks for the welcome.
