I forgot to tell you about my bargain
Went to Lillywhites in Piccadilly Circus. They're selling Converse hi-tops for half price:
£17.49 / US$33 / C$38 / €26 / Aus$43 / PHP1,652.
And they've got half sizes. (By the way, is that enough conversions for y'all?)
Sure, the choice of colours is limited, but who can resist at that price? Not I.

What is PHP?
Ooooh Converse. You'll be the coolest kid on the block. I would recommend getting two pairs at the price.
Karen: PHP is Philippine pesos, for my blogmate Erika! Only today at lunchtime, I said to Red, "I shoulda bought the white pair, too..." Oh well.
shame it'd cost $1,000+ just to get there... but sure is a good price :)
I wear a size 8.5 USA and i'll take any color. Don't mind me just adding myself to your holiday list. no stress right?
Oh yes, converse! I have low tops in black...my old blue ones are really, really worn out, but I can't bring myself to let them go!
When I read the title for this post, my first thought was that old Robert Johnson blues, Crossroads......
Yeah, careful who you bargain with * , Robert Johnsons bargain was with the walking goat!
Sounds liek a super deal. I always wish I had bought two pairs or extras after I get home from excellent sale.
Oh yeah, what's that in Thai Bhat?
Found out something interesting yesterday whilst Chrimbo shopping online. You can buy music/dvd's/games VAT free and with free delivery from Jersey Tesco. Woohoo.
Most of our presents have been bought through eBay this year, is still cheaper to get many things imported than buy them over here.
My red Converse cheapo rip-offs are falling apart even more than is fashionable. So I'm there.
Obviously first I have to go to Sister Ray to buy cheap Half Man Half Biscuit albums. Christmas presents? What are they?
Excellent choice, *. Kate has them too.
Martha: It wouldn't cost you that much. I'm sure you could get return flights for about $600, no?
Olives: 8.5, huh? Well, like I say, they've got half sizes. Come and help yerself.
LDB: They've got low-tops, too. It's horrible when you have to say goodbye to favourite shoes, isn't it? They've been like friends for so long...
Mr A: No, 'fraid not. As you by now have realized.
Candy: I'll be careful! You know next time I go there they will have totally sold out, and I'll be proper pissed off!
Pie: That's 1,217 Thai baht. You been to Thailand? I went there on honeymoon; loved it. I've heard about Jersey Tesco, and Jersey Amazon. Indeed, I believe play.com is Jersey-based, and that's where I buy almost all my CDs and DVDs.
Will: Ooh, you simply must post a pic if you buy some! (But I'm starting to think you're just mocking me, with the HMHB jibe...)
Tanya: Hey, well what can I say? ;-)
