Too much work...
Regular readers and visitors may have noticed a reduction in my output of late. Back in the day -- and I'm talking ... ooh, several weeks ago -- it was not uncommon for me to post four times during my working hours. Sometimes you might have got six posts, sometimes three. And I never missed a day.
I'm having a bit of a work overload at the moment, and it's set to get worse, so that's why you occasionally see only one post a day from me right now, and sometimes none -- at the weekend, for example. It's going to be a long month for me, without being able to blog much.
Yessiree, it's a tough life sometimes. Still, it could be worse. Imagine having to do what this guy does 18 hours a day.

Actually, I wasn't around during those days, therefor this seems rather normal to me...
Thus..
No dissapointment.
Make you feel any better? No?
Howzabout we go to a titty bar then? ;)
Steve~
Even though you're not posting as often, we still love you.
Ummmmm...that other blog made me sad.
And so sorry about that having to work bullshit. I get all pissed about it too.
Taking a siesta, Camie style, huh?
(it's hard to admit you have a life, isn't it?)
being a cat would be fun until the first time you killed a bird and thought, shit man, what did I do that for?.....I'll go drop it on the humans' doorstep, they'll kno what to do with it.
Yer post when yer can 'n want to. I go through 2 12 hour days 'n 2 12 hour nights. Generally don't post then. Whatever. No probs. By the way. Yer've just debuted on Drunk Punk - actually yer on DILLIGAF 'cause i broke the rules.
Steve: Titty bar? Not sure Wife will let me; and I'll wager your won't either. Let's tell 'em we're going on a business trip...
Karen: Thanks pet.
Lee: I know. It's really tough for some guys. We should remember that more often.
Camie: A siesta might be nice. Certainly Cat thinks so...
Mr A: Yeah. Our cat knows sho nuff what to do, judging by the entrails we've found in the lounge on more than one occasion. Mostly he is a sports hunter, though.
4D: We do what we can, huh? Thanks for the heads-up on the song. You know I'm at Dilligaf every day, so today was no different. Cheers.
Hi! Here via 4d. I think it is important not to become a slave to one's blog. That's the way to burn oneself out, I think. One blog occasionally is better than no blog at all. No?
Heck I used to post everyday. With the whole 'spinning about a lot' thing, I dont feel much like staring at a pc screen.
Its ok however, the world doesnt end when you dont post on a daily basis.
I sometimes blog at work and then feel really guilty, which I shouldn't because I never take breaks. Sometimes I feel prolific other times, would rather curl up with a book. Blogging at work is getting to be a real personnel issue........with many companies beginning to crack the whip on the back of bloggers.
you're allowed to cut down so long as you don't stop! though as you've always been very prolific, we'll still get our * fix, I guess.
my blogging output is quite erratic, also I tend more to long rambling posts which cover lots of different topics (or at least veer towards, I don't know that I really "cover" anything) whereas you've always teneded to post fairly disciplined, self-contained posts. A 4 or 6 post day has meant 4 or 6 distinct throught processes. um. not sure where this observation is going. er. that's all.
I noticed, but I also have been super busy this past two weeks and not able to catch up to reading or anything it feels like. I can never tell if its an illusion, or I am really busy!
Life is a pendulum, it swings one way then the other...next thing you know you'll be posting like a feind.
PI: Thanks for stopping by. Fortunately I don't feel a slave to the blog, but I enjoy it, so it's a shame to have to cut back, y'know?
RD: The world won't end if I don't post daily? Are you sure?
Diana: You're right about the blogging-at-work issue, but luckily I work for myself. From home. So I can do as I please as long as the work gets done. Yay!
Spangly: I will endeavour to post at least once a day on weekdays, and hopefully more. I've been known to do some of those long posts that cover about 10 different subjects, but it's fairly rare. I don't think that's your usual style, though, if that's what you're "concerned" about.
Candy: I know you've been really busy recently, so it's sweet that you noticed. Fiendsville here I come!
