I’m Asterisk, buy me.
Remember the great artwork Asterisk's Brew, made by Candy Minx? You can now own this unique and wonderful piece by clicking here and buying it at eBay. Believe me, oh faithful reader, she and I debated the logistics of shipping it to the UK, but it just ain't gonna fly... umm, literally.
So, if you are based in the US, why not buy it for your wall? It's a great piece, I will be eternally jealous, it'd be great to know it's in the hands of a blogmate, AND you'll be supporting an artist who does it cos she loves it. And isn't that the best type of artist?

Great plug *(asterisk)! If I had the money, I'd certainly consider it!
Wow, great plug is right, I'm blushing! I am woring ona much larger painting well twice the size but inspired by the colours and drips on this painting as I type...just making a huge sheet for it today...
Thanks *, it would be wonderful if someone took this sexy paiinting home. Did you notice I limited the shipping to North America only? Me and my big idea painting on cereal boxes, oh well.
Every house should have a candy minx painting on the wall, I say.
Karen: I would buy it in a heartbeat, but international shipping cannot be trusted with a delicate piece.
Candy: Awww. I look forward to seeing the progresss on the new one over at The Gnostic World of Candy Minx. I did notice the N. America-only thing. Better safe than sorry.
Mr A: Damn right!
thats an outstanding painting. unfortunately i am head of the anti-avocado league. due to the content of this painting depicting an avocado... i cannot purchase it.
i do think its very neato though.
Yasamin, it is indeed a wonderful pleasure to meet another member of the anti-avacado league. It means so much to me that you noticed that avacado in the collage and grasp at it's significance. I too am against California baseball teams and the totalitarian role of farmers growing the dastardly plant avacado. Avacado repulses me, and it's metaphor and literal use in this art work represents the domination and introduction of the avacado into contemporay culture and worse, diet. The original title for this art-work was "Down With Avacados" and then knowing that * hated avacados, plus the drips he requested upside down I juxtaposed the crooked avacado against the bright pink stipes, or if you prefer, drips, and I re-named the painting after him. Thus giving even less attention to the dreaded fruit, or vegetable, or who cares.
Yasamin: As Candy implied, your not liking avocado is perfect: neither she nor I like them either.
I am insane. Nevertheless I am not moving to the fucking USA to buy it. If I did I would though. Caz likes it a lot.
4D: No, moving to the US just to buy this would be a tad silly, perhaps!
