It’s my half-birthday and I’ll sing if I want to

Okay, strictly speaking it's not this blog's half-birthday today, since that passed unnoticed four days ago, undoubtedly because Wife and I were preparing for our visitors.

So, a belated happy half-birthday to my blog. Click here to join in the celebrations, but you might want to turn down your speakers if you are at work... Thank you, thank you very much.

Very nice...my dog cocked his head curiously at your birthday song as I desperately tried to turn down the volume on my computer.

You have bottle, I'll give you that.

Well done * for a blog that always surprises, entertains and delights.

Many blogs on my bookmark list have come and gone (including my own), but yours (and Red's) remain, probably because you are interested in so many different things and you have such a friendly writing style.

I don't share a lot of your likes and dislikes, but that doesn't matter. It's the way you tell em.

Keep it up.

Happy 1/2 BDay! Your little jingle caused my son to start a little dance. I had to replay it for him twice. Even better, he knew you weren't Cappy, 4D, or Dullard. He has heard all of them quite a bit, and he recognized that your voice sounded different than theirs. He means your accent.

Did you know that you are nuts?

Just wondering!

Really happy six months mark...has it only been six months? Feels like a lot longer! What a delight to meet so many cool people, and I am so happy to have the pleasure of wasting so much time on-line with you...and with Red!

It feels longer because we get more bang for our buck; up to half a dozen posts a day!

Keep it, up you are a light in the drudgery of school

Red: Yours must be coming up soon, too. Maybe next month?

Lee: I like to think I can at least keep dogs entertained for 20 seconds.

Kate: Cheers, dear.

WW: Thanks for your kind words.

Camie: Awww, bless him. Cool that he can tell the difference between Brit accents already. See, you just can't buy that sort of education.

Suze: Jelly, cake... you name it, we won't have it.

Nuts, Candy, moi? I no tink so. Feels like a lot longer?! What are you trying to say? (I know what you mean, though.)

Shamash: Thanks, man. By the way, I bought some farls. Gonna have them for breakfast or brunch today!

1 question though my friend. when red says that juliet lewis makes her feel durty to her very core, what exactly does she mean?
have you got her new album on constant repeat you lucky fella, or is it in a bad way?

enquiring minds need to know!

Cappy: Cheers. The Juliet Lewis thing is in a bad way. She hates her with a passion. And there is no way she would allow her album into the house, even I did want it, which I don't.

_z.: Thanks, man. I'll look out for yours.

Cappy: Yes, I thought she might have a different effect on you ;-) I used to think she was okay, but this whole singing thing has put me right off.

Martha: Thanks. I do like to share my dulcet tones once in a while!
