A piu’ tardi, ragazzi! (Later, dudes!)

Hmm...

È un'ingiustizia, però!

Well, I have to talk like this for the next six or seven days, because Wife and I are going to Italy.

It's strange... When I go there, I have to speak Italian, and when our friends and family come here, I have to speak Italian! Hmm...

It's not fair, though!

Per concludere, un certo italiano da voi! Potete parlare italiano fluente? Inoltre, dove state andando in Italia? Vengo dal nord, in modo da se provenite dal sud, dall'io percepisco la rivalità…

Finally some Italian from you? Can you speak it fluently or not? And where do you come from in Italy? I'm from the north so if you're from the south I sense rivalry

I know there are errors in my Italian but I'm only used to speaking it so give me a break!

Yes, lots of pictures (I hope I can actually see them with this creepy browser...). And eat lots of good food, and tell us about it. Who will be in care of CAT while you are abroad??

I took two years of Italian in college and six years of Spanish prior. Between the two, I was able to decipher some of that. I'm proud of myself. Have fun. And bring back a Luca Toni for me!

Spangly / Pie: Thanks. I did.

Cyn: I will post some pics sooooon. Italy rocks!

Suze: Not many tales to tell. Lots of sun, sea, sand, food, and drink... Nice and relaxing, though.

APP: Thank you.

DP: Ciao anche a te, cagnolino.

_z.: Will do. Did do!

Shamash: A volte, scrivo un po' d'italiano, pero' lo parlo piu' spesso -- ma non molto spesso. E per quello ci sono tanti errori anche nel mio italiano! Ma io sono inglese, e mia moglie e' italiana, delle Marche. [At times I write a little Italian, but I speak it more often -- though not very often. That's why there are plenty of errors in my Italian! But I'm English, and my wife's Italian, from the Marche region.]

Camie: I'll get round to the pics soon. You still not seeing them? Cat stays at a lovely cattery, although he calls it a spa retreat, of course.

Meander: I was there then, but now I'm back, see?

Candy: And now I'm back, hurrah!

Sue Ellen: Languages are fun, aren't they?! No room for a Luca Toni in my suitcase, but I think there may be a picture somewhere of me doing that thing he does with his hand near his ear when he scores... Maybe I'll post that for you!

4D: Cheers matey!

Kate: Thanks. Did do.

Candy: We stay with Wife's mum, and she doesn't have Internet access. And frankly that's probably a good thing, cos we'd both spend too much time blogging and not enough time having a break from our bloody computers!

Minerva Jane: Thanks, pet.

DP: The cat was starved, but only of attention... Bless him.

G-Hobbs: No Babelfish for me, sir; I use only my own brain, and then maybe I use Wife's a little too for the trickier bits! Nowhere near any of those places, but have been to them all before, though Florence was only for a few hours.Yes, great country it is.

Michelino: You also need some other words, I think :-)
