Palahniuk story
This is worth checking out for anyone with an interest in both Chuck Palahniuk and The Wicker Man, among other things. Enjoy.
I don't think it's from Haunted, but I haven't read my copy yet, so I don't know for sure...

I'm surprised I can even post here right now, my blogger is out for lunch. I can't load any posts, or anything, been like this all day. I'm writing on paper some ideas at the moment and watching the tvelly. I will check out the site.
I have a pal who collects autographs and is a poet himself and writes to a lot of writers. He had a correspondance with Palniuk and sent him a letter or something and Palahniuk not only wrote him a letter back but sent him a bar of soap(yes, Chuck makes his own soap...!!) and some broaches. My friend gave me the butterfly broach that C.P> sent him. C.P> also wrote a really cool letter. I was impressed he took the time for his fans etc. and seems to have a wicked sense of humour.
Are they remaking The Wicker Man? Hope not. You can't better a classic.
Palahnuk is ace.
He responds to emails and doesnt seem to have an ego.
Great writer too.
Oh yeah that wa sa stuck up few hours the other day on blogger.
Um, I just got to this article, I think it sounds like an excerpt but maybe not from Haunting. Wow, that was a great article, I loved it heavy and true and yet, fun. I still have to track down The Wicker Man.
Interesting article - it's true, in some perverse way we all enjoy watching people die in horror films.
CM: Blogger seems to be having a bit of difficulty these past few days. Can be very frustrating at times. Cool about the soap!
4D: I've heard that they are... Bad news.
RD: Yeah, he is ace. He wrote a cool dedication to me in my copy of Fugitives and Refugees.
Jez: Yep, reckon so.
ACT: Weird, isn't it? We're all sickos!
