You ever have one of those nights...?

You know the sort. You wake up at 4:30am and just have to go and eat some houmous and warmed pitta and drink half a glass of Coke left over from dinner. Mmmm, midnight snacks. (Well, not midnight per se, but still.)

And then, as you drift back into dreamland, you find you're starring on Strictly Come Dancing, and between dances your wife is selling bottles of her home-made olive oil to the other contestants and spectators.

It's not just me, is it? I'm sure we all have nights like that...

Not with Coke and Houmous, but something similar. Usually involving the urge to go to the bathroom at 4:30am and then going back to sleep and dreaming of what the cats get up to downstairs.

Asterisk, no wonder you have such strange dreams after snacking on those. The Coke alone can cause that. lol

Tanya: Something similar to Coke and houmous. What could it be? Intrigued...

Milla: None! And I hadn't even been drinking!

Suze: Yeah, you might be on to something there...

Tanya: God... When I was training to be a betting-shop manager, I had to do a one-week course on how to correctly work out how much people had won. The thing is, they all use machines, but sometimes, if the power goes out or your machine breaks down, you have to know how to do everything on paper, too. So I would spend six or seven hours a day doing these crazy sums, and then dream about it all night too. Absolutely horrendous!

Hmmm...my waking up in the middle of the night consists of downing down some diet rite straight out of the bottle closing the fridge door and realizning i left the icecream cake out before i went to bed. Spending th enext hour cleaning that up and finding myself somehow once again sleeping on the floor in the bathroom instead of my room. And the funny thing is...I dont even like Diet Rite.

Uh, can't say I've had one of those nights. I love to sleep and refuse to get out of bed for anything short of an emergency before the alarm clock sounds;-)

I wake up round 4 am every morn and watch whatever's on Discovery Science. This mornin I learned about how 96% of the universe was missing and they thought it was dark matter but then they discovered "dark matter" and realized it only accounted for like 17% of the missing universe so then someone discovered that the universe it expanding at a ridiculous rate of speed and they realized that this would take a ridiculous amount of energy and they named it "dark energy" and it accounts for the rest of the missin universe. Whew! Mystery solved...back to sleep!

Shea: I don't know what Diet Rite is, but it surely can't be good. Ice-cream cake, though. Now that's gotta be good.

LDBug: Sleeping's all right, y'know, but I'd sooner be doing something, mostly.

Lee: I love the way they just make up a name for something that's missing. (And how do they know it's missing?) I have missing cash. I should be a millionaire, but I'm not, so maybe that missing amount, which is almost a million, maybe I can call it "dark money". Whaddya think?

Yeah my money's dark too - I think it dissappeared into a black hole.

mine tends to be garlic and herb pittas loaded with mayo, edam and tomatoes, washed down with pepsi max! (or any beer/cider/wine left lying around, but thats a rarity) and it tends to be 4pm.

Cappy: That sounds more like a meal than a snack, man! Whoa!
